Flesh
From time to time I step away from my usual genre of books (SF/Fantasy) and pick something different.
I've looked at 2025 Booker awards (I think this is considered High Literature?) and decided to go with the winner:

I haven't read any reviews prior not to spoil my opinion about the book. (like when you watch some random movie, loved it and you check review and it turns out to be the worst movie ever?)
Well it turned out to be a book about a guy who is pushed through live, never thinking much about why he is doing things that he did. Kind of saying "yes, whatever" to everything that happened to him.
Dialogues ale very blunt, main character is unlikable and it all ends with Soap-Opera-like plot twist.
Reading reviews after, opinions are divided. There are people who seem to overinterpret it and look for hidden meaning. I don't. Being honest I've read many more better SF/Fantasy books aspect, characters, dialogues, plot that never won any award.
Final score is 5/10
